Logging into answering groups (ACD or attendant)

3 min

To receive calls arriving to a answering group (ACD or attendant) in the VIP Plus service:
•    You must be a member of the answering group and logged into that group. The main administrator of the VIP Plus service can manage the members of answering groups.
•    With the Basic profile, you can be a member of the hunt group and log in to receive calls from the ACD group.
•    To log into operator groups the user must have a Multi-profile (which also enables the use of a workstation phone) and the company must have attendants licenses.*

Please note that your availability status may affect whether you receive calls arriving to the response group. For example, if your status is “Busy,” calls may not be routed to you, depending on the configuration. The service administrator can adjust the service settings. The response group’s opening hours also affect whether you receive calls.

You can log into response groups via the mobile application and the VIP Plus user interface.
* If there are four attendants, but only three user handle calls to the attendant group at the same time, the company only needs three attendant licenses. In this case, if a fourth person tries to log into the number, they will receive an error message. One person can be logged into several numbers at the same time.

Logging into answering groups using function codes

Customer service representatives or operators can log in and out of various customer service and operator groups using a function code instead of the mobile application or workstation phone.
•    To log in: call from your mobile phone 981 + the customer service or operator group number
•    To log out: call from your mobile phone 982 + the customer service or operator group number
•    You can check the group identification number from your company’s VIP Plus administrator.
