Arranging a conference call

Below you will find instructions on how to arrange a conference call with the Telia VIP Plus service. A conference call involves several participants. You can set up a conference call either "on the fly" by adding participants during the call, or by scheduling the call in advance for a specific time.

To arrange conference calls with the mobile app, the internet calls feature (VoIP) must be enabled. You can activate this feature in the app settings.

  1. While on a call, select "New Call" and call the person you want to add to the conference call. The active call will be put on hold.
  2. Once you are connected with the person you wish to add, select "Merge".
  3. You are now in a conference call. If you want to add more participants, repeat the process: make a new call and select "Merge".
  4. You can view the participants by clicking the icon in the top right corner. From the same view, you can also remove participants from the conference.
  5. The conference call ends when only the originator of the call remains on the line.

  6. Repeat these steps if you want to add more users to the same conference.

  7. You can end the conference by pressing the red receiver icon. You can end the entire conference, remove individual participants, or leave the call yourself while others continue the conference.

Scheduling a conference call for the future

You can schedule a conference call for the future in the older version of the VIP Plus service. Log in to the old version using the same credentials as for the VIP Plus interface.

  1. Log in to the VIP homepage
  2. Select the Meetings tab
  3. Click the plus icon in the top right corner
  4. Fill in the meeting details in the pop-up window: title, date and time, participants, and other meeting details. If you wish, you can set SMS or email reminders for the meeting. If you invite users who are outside VIP, enter their email addresses in the Participants field, separated by commas.
  5. Finally, select "Schedule".
  6. Participants will receive an invitation email with instructions on how to join the meeting.
