Telia Wavelenght service for operators
When using Wavelength service, we can offer reliable and high-capacity network resources up to 400 Gbit/s in Finland, Sweden and Norway. You can use the service yourself, for example, to build your own backbone network, or, as a secondary connection via the northern land route to Sweden, to connect Datacenters or to meet the needs of your own end customers. You can rent the capacity you want on the routes between the access points in the network – if needed, we can also build new connections, for example, to new Datacenter sites.
The connections are implemented through our high-quality and extensive backbone network in Finland and in other Telia countries. We use DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology for wavelength connections, which allows us to transmit several separate signals using different wavelengths with a single optical fiber. Customers have dedicated network resources, where the service is not affected by capacity competition of other networks.
