This guide explains how the main administrator of the VIP Plus service can manage users covered by the service.

As the company’s main administrator, you can make the following changes in the My Telia for Business self-service portal

•    add the VIP Plus service to a new subscription during the activation process
•    add the VIP Plus service to an existing subscription
•    change and edit VIP profiles
•    update user and billing information
•    remove the VIP Plus service from a subscription

All other service management takes place via the VIP Plus admin portal.

Note! If you wish to terminate the VIP Plus service completely, please submit a service request via the Minun Telia Yrityksille self-service portal.


VIP Plus Admin Portal

In the VIP Plus Admin Portal, the administrator can:

•    Manage the groups to which users belong.
•    Create new answering groups.
•    Change the opening hours of answering groups.
•    Create and edit existing voive prompts.
•    Modify the number and names of selectable availability statuses.
•    Manage additional services.
•    Grant and revoke admin rights to another user.
 

Enabling during subscription activation:

  1.  Log in to the My Telia for Business self-service portal.
  2. Open a new business customer phone subscription.
  3. In the subscription's additional services section, select VIP Plus service as the additional service.
  4. Fill in the user information and select the desired user profile. A basic user can use the mobile application, while a multi-user can use both the mobile application and the workstation phone.
  5. If necessary, fill in additional information and press Select.
  6. Continue to complete the subscription activation.


Enabling for an Existing Subscription:

  1. Log in to the My Telia for Business self-service portal.
  2. Select "Manage Subscriptions and Devices" and then "Mobile Subscriptions."
  3. Under the "Communication Services" heading, select "Add VIP Plus User."
  4. Select the company and enter the mobile phone number you want to add to the VIP Plus service. The service will verify that the subscription is in the company's name.
  5. The user's name will be the mobile subscription user's information. Check the user information.
  6. Select the desired user profile and add any necessary additional information. A basic user can use the mobile application, while a multi-user can use both the mobile application and the workstation phone.
  7. Select "Confirm."


Editing a Profile

As an administrator, you can edit a VIP Plus user's profile in the My Telia for Business self-service portal.

To change profiles:

  1. Log in to the My Telia for Business self-service portal.
  2. Select "Manage Subscriptions and Devices" and then "Mobile Subscriptions."
  3. Under the "Communication Services" heading, select the desired subscription.
  4. Next to the "User Information" heading, select "Edit."
  5. From the "Update VIP Profile" section, select the desired profile.
  6. Select "Save."


Removing Users from the VIP Plus Service

You can terminate the VIP Plus service for an individual subscription in My Telia for Business self-service portal.

  1. Log in to the service portal.
  2. Select "Manage Subscriptions and Devices" and then "Mobile Subscriptions."
  3. Under the "Communication Services" heading, select the correct mobile subscription by clicking the subscription information row.
  4. Click "Remove User" in the upper corner of the box and confirm the change.

 

Transferring a Subscription to Another User

If the user of a number in the VIP Plus service changes, the subscription under the existing person's name must be removed from the VIP Plus service and then added as a new user.

The user must be removed to reset the voicemail service. If you only change the name of the existing user, the new user of the subscription will be able to listen to the previous person's messages.
